HO --> HOKOKU --> Reporting.
REN --> RENKAKU --> Consulting.
SO --> SODAN --> Discussing.

This is how it work as Japanese style, there also the levels of reporting as
1.) Raw data (What exactly happen).
2.) Data (Raw data + emotion).
3.) Information (Data + Suggestion).

Mostly the system will work as what the superior act, mean superior is the most important environment for the staffs. 
ex) In tennis, how player return the ball is up to how you serve.

With this system you will have to be always awareness of objective. Foreseen the trouble and get (prepare) information needed to solve it.

You should report as much as you can, even the job it isn't done yet to alert everybody, what you are doing and what they should response to. With this system there will be automatic get involved from the people by let them have the proper information.So, there was no one would be leaved behind everybody working together, help each others to reach to the goal.

The worse the information the sooner it should be reported, don't let it too late to fix the problem. Scream out ask for help.Always, be prepared there should be 1 day before deadline to get all things done.
